Returns Policy

Please note that you do have the right to return a product for refund within the first 30 days following delivery. Some items are manufactured to order and for this reason are exempt from the 30 day cancellation period. We regret that we will not be able to accept these goods back for credit or exchange - This includes some rear bumper guards, mud flaps and Ulter exhausts (all made specially to order) Please also note that for items that have been supplied in a factory sealed box or with a factory security seal, we are unable to offer a refund for these items once they have been opened so please be sure to check that you have ordered the correct item before opening.

If we have correctly supplied the product as ordered then we will reimburse the original purchase price in full. We request that you return the goods to us in original condition. You will also be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Please note that any goods returned more than 30 days after the original delivery date will not be refunded unless we received notification of cancellation within the 30 day period. Please ensure that goods are securely packaged to avoid damage. If goods are damaged in transit we will not be able to refund or exchange - so please ensure that you also have adequate insurance.

If you wish to return any item then please follow these basic steps:

(a) CONTACT US to request a *Returns Number. - You can contact us via email or telephone.

(b) Send the goods to the following address: Returns, Direct Car Parts Ltd, Front Street, Framwellgate Moor, Durham, DH1 5AU. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Please ensure that goods are securely packaged to avoid damage.

(c) Attach a copy of the delivery note or invoice as proof of purchase and mark the package clearly with the *Returns Number.

(*) Returns Number: This number helps us to deal quickly and efficiently with your refund. Please note that if this number is not clearly marked on the returned item then this may cause delays.

 Please note that we expect you to return the goods to us in original condition and suitable for resale.


Looking to exchange a product?

Follow the procedure as above. Once we receive your item back we'll refund the purchase back to your account. You'll then need to reorder the item that you'd like. If you need the item quickly you can just reorder immediately and send the return item back within the 30 day period outlined above.

The reason we exchange products this way is because all of our systems are automated. By treating the exchange as two separate orders it ensures that the exchange is handled efficiently. It also means that you can reorder your replacement item immediately rather than waiting until we've received your returned item. As our systems are automated you'll also be kept informed of order tracking details automatically.
