Simoniz SIMP10D zinc primer 500ml is a spray-on primer that is designed to prepare galvanized or untreated metal surfaces for painting. It is a zinc-rich primer that provides excellent corrosion protection. The primer is easy to use and dries quickly.

How to use:

Preparation: Clean area to be treated, of any dirt, rust, grease etc. Use wet and dry abrasive paper to prepare the surface. Mask off areas which do not require treatment.

Directions: Shake can vigorously for 2 minutes. Ideal application temperature is 21 °C/71 °F. Primer should not be applied to surfaces treated with alkyd based paints. Test spray a small inconspicuous area before use. Hold the can approximately 25-30 cm away from the surface and apply thin even coats. Leave 10-15 minute intervals between coats.

Allow primers and topcoats 2-3 hours to dry before overpainting. After use, invert the can and press the nozzle for several seconds.
