1. Pricing information:
All prices include V.A.T. at the standard UK rate (if applicable). Delivery charges depend on the size and weight of the packaged consignment and will be displayed at the checkout.

2. Order confirmation and order validation:
We will confirm your order either by e-mail or by telephone. Order confirmation is normally sent after we have validated credit/debit card details and received authorisation from the card issuers - Please note that this process can take up to 24 Hours.

3. Payment:
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Delta, Electron and Maestro cards. Payment will be debited to your account as your order is placed. Alternatively we can accept cheques made payable to "Direct Car Parts" and sent to the following address:- Direct Car Parts Ltd, A1 Motor Stores, Front Street, Framwellgate Moor, Durham, DH1 5AU.

4. Delivery of goods:
We will endeavour to deliver your order to you within 3-5 working days, providing the goods are in stock (Unless a longer delivery period is clearly stated on the specific product page). If we are not able to meet this deadline, we will contact you within 5 days of receipt of your order to arrange an alternative delivery date. If we are unable to deliver your order within a 30 period we will notify you in writing usually via email. Please note that deliveries to N.Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, The Highlands and Islands of Scotland can take longer than 3-5 days to deliver - Please ask if express delivery is required but note that we will not refund the express delivery charge if goods are subsequently returned.

5. Customer feedback and enquiries:
We are always open to suggestions and we encourage feedback to help us to improve our service levels. If you have any feedback, enquiries or comments then please let us know. 6. Returns/Refund policy:
Please note that you do have the right to return a product for refund within the first 7 days following delivery. Special order items are custom made to your specification and for this reason are exempt from the 7 day cancellation period. We regret that we will not be able to accept these goods back for credit or exchange.

If we have correctly supplied the product as ordered then we will reimburse the original purchase price in full. We request that you return the goods to us in original condition. You will also be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Please note that any goods returned more than 28 days after the original delivery date will not be refunded unless we received notification of cancellation within the 7 day period. Please ensure that goods are securely packaged to avoid damage. If goods are damaged in transit we reserve the right to make a claim against the customer for this damage.

If you wish to return any item then please follow these basic steps:
(a) Contact us to request a *Returns Number.
(b) Send the goods to the following address: Returns, Direct Car Parts Ltd, A1 Motor Stores, Front Street, Framwellgate Moor, Durham, DH1 5AU. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Please ensure that goods are securely packaged to avoid damage. If goods are damaged in transit we reserve the right to make a claim against the customer for this damage.
(c) Attach a copy of the delivery note or invoice as proof of purchase and mark the package clearly with the *Returns Number.

(*) Returns Number - This number helps us to deal quickly and efficiently with your refund. Please note that if this number is not clearly marked on the returned item then this may cause delays.

7. Goods damaged in transit:
If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit please notify us within a reasonable time period. Our couriers allow us up to 48 hours from the time of delivery to report transit damage. If goods have been damaged in transit we will make arrangements to replace the goods once the courier has acknowledged the claim for transit damage. We also request that you keep the goods and any packaging in case the courier needs to inspect the delivery as part of the transit insurance claim.

8. Returns under warranty:
Most products carry a manufacturers warranty. Bulbs only carry a three month warranty from the date of purchase. Most other products carry a 12 month minimum warranty. If an item develops a warranty fault within the warranty period we will be happy to repair or replaced the item, however, you will be responsible for any return costs incurred. A replacement item will be sent out at our cost once the fault has been verified and confirmed and the warranty claim acknowledge by the manufacturer. Please note that this process can sometimes take several days. Your legal rights are not affected.

9. Product information and product images:
Although we endeavour to provide you with the latest product information and to ensure that product images are identical to the items supplied, we cannot always guarantee that this will be the case. Product colours and styles can differ slightly from the published images.

10. Confidentiality of personal details:
Personal details are held confidentially. Please note that we never divulge personal details to any third party and any information supplied is used solely for the purpose of processing your order or sending you regular email bulletins (If requested). If you decide that you would like to leave our mailing list, please ask and we will remove all of your details. Our website is SSL secure and our certificate is provided by Thawte who are widely recognised as the number one provider of SSL certificates to secure websites. If you wish to verify this then please contact Thawte directly via www.thawte.com. You can also verify the security of our website by checking for the padlock sign in your browser window (Please note that this is only visible when we capture credit card details)

11. Suitability of products:
Please note: It is your responsibility to ensure that the item that you have ordered is suitable for your car based on the information that we have published on our website.
If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of any product for your vehicle then please contact us for further advice before ordering. All application information is supplied by the product manufacturers and all dates used in product descriptions are dates of vehicle manufacture, they are not vehicle registration dates. If you are in doubt please ask. Please note that products on this web site are generally suitable for UK specification vehicles and we are not able to ensure suitability of these products for non-UK specification vehicles (including models imported from outside the UK).

12. IMPORTANT:
All products are supplied on a DIY fit basis, fitting instructions are provided in most cases. All items carry a minimum one year manufacturers warranty from the date of purchase and we are happy to replace or repair faulty products if you experience any problems during the warranty period. If you choose to have any product professionally installed we will not be held responsible for any costs involved in installing or removing the product from your vehicle during or after the warranty period.
If you are not happy with this policy or any of the above policies please do not purchase.
